MS Companion?

The nearest ms companion star system is Sirius, the Dog Star. Sirius is binary, but we can't see the companion; it's smaller and outshined by the larger, brighter star.

Anyone who thinks about it for a few minutes would pretty much come to the conclusion that immortality sucks.
My husband tells me that the bit about falling off the roof without getting hurt was used for "Heros." I've never seen the show.
I wonder if they deal with the loneliness factor? The bleakness of immortality was the most striking part of the dream. Just a few people, outliving everyone else, especially when there's a pandemic.
Remember "Tuck Everlasting?" They seemed to handle it all rather well. In my dream, we were just starting to realize the situation.
